Privacy policy
The short version: your data stays yours.
Effective 7 April 2026 · Last updated 16 May 2026
Medoro stores all your data on your device and nowhere else. We have no accounts, no servers that receive your data, and no way to see what you track. Your data is yours alone.
1. Who we are
Medoro is developed by Aivenya. When this policy says "we", "us", or "our", it refers to Aivenya.
2. Data we collect
None. Medoro does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers. All data you enter into Medoro — including mood logs, medication information, journal entries, and events — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Account credentials (there are no accounts)
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Health data via Apple Health or Google Fit
3. In-app feedback (optional, user-initiated)
Medoro includes an optional "Send feedback" form in Settings. When you choose to use it:
- Your typed message and a small set of diagnostic fields (app version, operating system version, device model, locale, time zone) are sent to a private bug-tracking system we use to triage user reports.
- No medication data, mood data, journey or log content, profile information, or device identifiers are attached. The form shows you exactly what is being sent before you submit.
- Submission only happens when you tap the submit button. Closing the form sends nothing.
- If you include personal contact details in the free-text body, those will be visible to the developer reviewing your feedback. If you don't, we have no way to identify or reach you.
4. Medication database updates
Medoro includes a bundled medication database that ships with the app. Updates to the medication reference data are delivered as part of normal app updates through the App Store or Google Play — Medoro does not contact any server of ours to fetch medication data at runtime.
5. In-app purchases
Medoro uses Apple's StoreKit and Google Play Billing to offer monthly and annual subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store any payment information, and no purchase data is linked to anything you record inside Medoro.
6. Data storage and security
- All user data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device
- Sensitive items (app lock PIN) are stored using platform-native secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android)
- Optional app lock (PIN, Face ID, fingerprint) provides an additional layer of protection
- If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device
7. Data export and backup
You can export a complete backup of your data at any time from Settings. The backup is a single JSON file generated locally on your device — what you do with it is your responsibility. You can later import the same file to restore your data on the same device or a new one.
8. Children's privacy
Medoro is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Since we collect no data at all, this point is moot in practice.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since we have no way to contact users (no accounts, no email addresses), we encourage you to review this page periodically.
10. Contact us
If you have questions about this privacy policy, you can reach us at:
Use the contact form for anything privacy-related.
Medoro is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. Always consult your doctor or psychiatrist before making changes to your medication.
